Historically a heavy engineering company. Akbar changed CPEC into a fully renewable energy development focussed business. Under his leadership, CPEC successfully completed several of India’s first and pioneering large-scale grid-feed solar PV parks.
In 2015 Akbar was one of only 8 recipients of the prestigious “Re-Invest Award” from PM Modi for the promotion and development of GW scale renewable energy in India.
